God... is it really Comic Con time again? Arguably the biggest gathering of comic, sci-fi, and pop culture in general together in one building, this place just gets bigger (crowd-wise) each year, as it covers not just for what's in store for fan favorites like Superman and Batman, but also the biggest upcoming movie blockbusters and fan-favorite TV shows. For one thing, I'm definitely looking forward to the Iron Man II panel. Knowing how crowded it gets at this thing now though, I'm going to need to get in line quite early. If you want me to be honest, I thought the first movie was kind of... dull..., but it always seems like Marvel movies pick up more steam with their second installment (Spider-Man, Blade, Hulk, etc.), which leaves me hope that the sequel will be just plain fantastic. I'm also looking forward the Trick R' Treat screening Thursday, as I've been looking forward to this thing for 2 years now. I'm considering a few-TV related panels, but those two seem to be the biggest for the most part. However, I am hoping that there will be a hands-on demo for Mass Effect 2. Since E3 is out of my domain, Comic-Con is the next best thing I have for trying upcoming video games out. The original Mass Effect was one of my favorite games in '07, and I'm looking forward to the second game a lot. Other than that, I guess I'll just be wandering around the halls as usual. I'd write a little more at this point, but I've been having sleep troubles this week, so I should probably get to be right here and now.
